Ross Halls looks at how Ipswich Town's loan players got on for their clubs yesterday.

 

 

ELKAN BAGGOTT

The defender scored on his return to action for Bristol Rovers as they won 3-1 at relegation-threatened Cheltenham in League One. 

Baggott headed home the third goal against his former loan club as Matt Taylor's side secured their first win in seven games. 

The Gas return to action when they host Cambridge United on Tuesday night. 

GASSAN AHADME, PANUTCHE CAMARA AND FREDDIE LADAPO

Ahadme played the full 90 minutes for Cambridge United as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic in League One

Camara and Ladapo were not in the matchday squad once again for Nathan Jones' side as former Town forward Connor Wickham opened the scoring for the Addicks.

The U's equalised through another Blues connection in Macauley Bonne, who netted his first goal for Garry Monk's side against one of his former clubs.

CORRIE NDABA

The Irishman featured for Kilmarnock as they won 2-0 at St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

Ndaba came on as a 88th minute sub for Derek McInnes' side who head into the top-six split with an eight-point advantage in the fight for Europe.

NICK HAYES

The keeper played the full 90 minutes for Solihull Moors as they were beaten 3-0 at Bromley in the National League.

The Moors dropped down to fifth in the table and play their final game of the regular season when they host York City next weekend. 

FINLEY BARBROOK

The midfielder was not involved for Chelmsford City as they beat Tonbridge Angels 3-0 at home in the National League South. 

Barbook is still recovery from a minor injury and was at Portman Road yesterday as he won the Academy Player of the Year award. 

Robbie Simpson's side return to action when they travel to Chippenham Town, before the Clarets begin their playoff campaign.

 

 

RYAN CARR

The midfielder feature for Aveley as they won 2-1 at Weston-super-Mare in the sixth tier. 

Carr was fouled for Danny Scopes' side winning penalty as they secured their 20th league victory of the season and sit eighth in the table, two points off the final play-off spot. 

The Millers host promotion rivals Bath City next weekend for the final game of the campaign.

JACK MANLY AND ASH BOATSWAIN

The duo featured for Leiston as they lost 5-0 at Redditch United in the Southern League Premier Central. 

Darren Eadie and Chris Wigger's side were well beaten but remain 12th in the table and return to action when they host Leamington in their penultimate game of the season next weekend.

SETH O'NEILL

The youngster was unused sub for Felixstowe & Walton United as they beat Witham Town 1-0 at home in the Isthmian League North Division. 

O'Neill is yet to make his debut for the Seasiders, whose only goal in this win was scored by former Town academy graduate Zak Brown. 

Stuart Boardley's side are third in the table, four points off leaders Lowestoft Town with two league games left to play. They switch their focus to cup action as they face Needham Market in the Suffolk County Cup Final on Tuesday. 

WOODY WILLIAMSON

The keeper featured for Cheshunt as they lost 2-1 at Billericay Town in the Isthmian League Premier Division. 

Williamson came on as a sub for Craig Edwards' side after Sami Nabbad was given a straight red card in the first half. 

The Ambers are three points above the relegation zone and return to action when they host Canvey Island next weekend.

CAMERON STEWART

The defender was an unused sub for Cove Rangers as they lost 4-2 at Annan Athletic in the Scottish League One. 

Stewart hasn't featured for Paul Hartley's side in five games as the Toonsers sit fifth in the table, one point below the play-off spots. 

They return to action when they host Alloa Athletic next weekend.

EX-BLUES CORNER

Flynn Downes struck a dramatic last-gasp winner for Southampton as they beat Watford at home in the Championship. 

Aaron Drinan scored for Swindon Town as they came from behind to defeat AFC Wimbledon 3-2 at home in League Two. 

Jack Marriott scored his first goal for Wrexham as they sealed promotion to League One with a 6-0 home win over Forest Green Rovers in the fourth tier.

Tommy Smith scored an 88th minute winner for ten-man Macarthur as they won 2-1 at Adelaide United in the A-League. That's his first goal since signing for the Australian club.
